We stayed at Hiriketiya White House for 4 nights and loved everything about it. The room we had on the first floor was lovely - great bed, ceiling fan, balcony with chairs, and a stunning open-air but private bathroom. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The owner even drove us into town when we needed to catch a bus. Breakfast was delicious and different each morning, and the whole property was spotlessly clean. Couldn't recommend staying here highly enough!

Our stay at Hiriketiya White House Bed & Breakfast was absolutely amazing. It was our third place to stay during our holiday and by far the best. The location was fantastic, just a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach with great waves for surfing and sea turtles. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family with two toddlers. We also loved the friendly and helpful host who even assisted us in arranging our onward travel to Ella at a reasonable price. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay near a stunning beach.

The beach was nice and the breakfast was okay. The rooms were very comfortable and new looking. The bed was great and the half-outdoors bathroom was pleasant. The owner was helpful without being annoying, and even drove us to town. The location of the guest house was perfect, close to the beach. The balcony had chairs and got some sun, so we could easily dry our beach gear. The bathroom was cleaned daily and the bed was made again.

There was literally nowhere to eat and we had to wander around to find food. The owner disappeared after showing us to our room, and we couldn't find him.

The open bathroom with its jungle view allowed me to shower while immersing myself in the surrounding beauty. The balcony was a haven for spotting wildlife like monkeys, chipmunks, and peacocks. The friendly and helpful staff ensured that my room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast spread was a delight, with a massive fruit plate followed by a delicious rotation of hoppers, pancakes, and rotis.

It would have been even better if the wooden slats around the window were closed, as they let in smoke from the bonfires that were held daily during my stay.

Although the property was a bit difficult to find without street names or signage, it was worth the effort. Additionally, the wifi in the upstairs room was not very reliable, but a router or wifi booster could easily solve this issue.

Enjoyed a continental breakfast in the lovely garden and made use of the convenient 24-hour front desk. Quirky bathroom with a jungle view, perfect for encounters with curious critters!
